About The Project

TempestAlert is a program that alerts you VIA email and/or text message when a tempest with a set of preffix and/or suffix are reported on POETempest. This program is made to enhance the game play for Path Of Exile.

The Tempest league was a hardcore challenge league. This league introduced Tempests. These can cause a variety of effects that influence both monsters and players, such as changing their sizes, causing damage, altering drop rates or automatically animating weapons that drop. It was possible to see the current affected areas on the World Screen.

TempestAlert was created to notify players as soon as a set of tempests are discovered on POETempest. Tempests are reset every hour. Having this knowledge allows players to quickly gain both experience and currencies in the league. Our team was able to gain large amount of experience and also accumulate currencies doing maps with certain tempest affix. Allows us to compete high in the ladder during the first few weeks of the league.
